Reviewing your feedback
We also asked you to go into more detail about why you felt like you did about the proposals.
We had almost 2,000 pieces of feedback and we’re still working to fully analyse all of these. This work will include making sure that any comments that we follow up anything that needs a response.
Next steps
Your thoughts and feedback have been included in a detailed business case, which will be considered by the Grand Union and Longhurst Group Boards. They will also get the detailed analysis of your feedback once it’s been completed.
They will use this, alongside the findings of the due diligence work that’s been taking place over the last few weeks to decide whether the merger should go ahead of not.
If both Boards decide to move ahead, we will let you know in early October. And if this is the case, we’ll then look at how we can use your feedback to help shape the new organisation.
Helping us with a new name for a new organisation
To ensure we come up with a name and brand that truly represents both organisations, our customers and our aims for the future, we want to hear your views. We’ve created a survey, which closes on Friday, 20 September, to find out what you think. We’d really appreciate you taking the time to complete the survey.
