Grand Union has been named both a Top 15 Landlord and Top 50 Biggest Builder by industry magazines.
24housing magazine named Grand Union as 14th in the Top 50 Landlords in the country – our highest position ever – while Inside Housing announced the Top 50 Biggest Builders, with Grand Union climbing to 43, up from 49 last year.
It’s been a busy year for Grand Union, having completed 296 new homes in 2018/2019, with 208 of these being much needed affordable and social rents. These are part of the 1,800 great, new modern homes home that Grand Union is building in the next five years.
Aileen Evans, Group Chief Executive at Grand Union, said: “It is great to be recognised amongst other top Housing Associations who are helping to solve the UK’s housing crisis. At Grand Union, we are doing our bit by providing truly affordable, good quality homes and extra services for those that need them.”
These are exciting times for Grand Union, with an office move coming this autumn which goes hand in hand with an investment in technology and new ways of working that will benefit its customers. The move will see Grand Union relocating from four smaller offices to one central location in Milton Keynes. This will increase efficiency, freeing up more time for GUHG to spend on customers who need a little extra support.
