If you’re on certain benefits and you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant, or have a child under 4, you may be able to get help to buy healthy food and milk under the Healthy Start scheme.
If you’re eligible (see here), then you’ll be sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that you can use in some shops. You’ll also be able to use your card to buy Healthy Start vitamins and vitamin drops for babies and young children.
It’s much easier to apply, now the scheme has been revised so families can apply online.
