A couple of weeks ago we let you know about the delays to garage door repairs because of steel shortages.
Unfortunately, we’re now experiencing a materials shortage across a number of areas, not just steel.
At the start of the pandemic many manufacturers were forced to reduce their production levels and some even had to lay off staff. As a result, there is now a shortage of a lot of the materials we need to maintain your homes.
This, coupled with delays in shipping and a lorry driver shortage because of Brexit and no HGV driving tests taking place during the lockdowns, means that we are now starting to fall behind on some repairs and planned maintenance.
We’re really sorry if you’re affected by any delays. We are doing everything we can, and thanks to our strong relationship with our supply chain partners, we’re not too badly affected right now. However, we’d ask for your patience for the time being while we try to get all of the materials we need.
