Deborah Stuart

Deborah’s role as Director of Wellbeing & Safeguarding gives her responsibility for retirement living, extra care, day services, telecare, Life24 alarm and wellbeing visiting service, learning disability and mental health services, dementia care, domestic abuse refuges, financial wellbeing, community investment and safeguarding.

Deborah began her career in supported housing working for Age Concern as a Resettlement Officer for older people with a learning disability. She then moved to Hightown Housing Association as Deputy Team Leader managing a 24-hour independent living service for people with a learning disability and from there to Aldwyck Housing Association where she held a variety of roles within the supported housing service.

After more than nine years working for Aldwyck she moved to Macintyre Housing Association as Supported Housing Manager. In 2006 Deborah took on the role of Assistant Director of Housing and Support Services before taking on responsibility for supported housing in 2014. She also has a Degree in Housing and a Diploma in Coaching.
