Quince Court “highly commended”

News – 10 February 2023 We are proud that Quince Court, one of our extra care schemes has been highly commended at a national awards ceremony last week. The scheme, in Sandy, Bedfordshire, was praised by judges but just missed out on the award for best purpose-built accommodation at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Excellence Awards. Quince Court, which already won the regional award for the Central region last year, was one of six finalists in this category at the awards which recognise and reward people in construction who work in all types of building projects. 2022 saw the completion of 25 new modern self–contained apartments at the scheme, which were built by Parrott Construction and designed by Create Architects. These sit alongside 30 existing apartments, and all of the schemes offer tailored care and support to over 55s. The awards were held in London on Friday 27 January.
