London Marathon 2023

We are pleased to announce that we have some spaces available for the 2023 London Marathon.

The prestigious event, a 26.2-mile course round some of London’s most scenic landmarks, is due to take place on Sunday 23 April.

If you would like to challenge yourself to do something truly phenomenal this year, and apply for one of our places, please complete the form below. All we ask is that you raise the minimum sponsorship of £1,250.

Thanks to the fundraising efforts of previous Grand Union runners over the years, more than £13,500 has been raised to support customers in our dementia specialist and supported schemes. This enabled the purchase of new, state-of-the-art, dementia-friendly sensory equipment, including a “magic table”, which encourages social interaction and brain stimulation – helping those with dementia lead happy and independent lives.

The funds raised will not only improve the lives of our customers with dementia, it will also help many other of our customers, with different needs. Our Independent Living service works in partnership with care providers, delivering support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, retirement housing, community alarm and support and domestic abuse refuges.
