10 years of Flowers House

News – 9 November 2022

It’s 10 years since we opened Flowers House, our specialist dementia care scheme in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a short video that explains the difference the scheme has made to customers and their families over the last decade.

Back in 2012, actor and Alzheimer’s Society ambassador, Kevin Whately was guest of honour at the £3.2m scheme’s official opening alongside our Group Chief Executive, Aileen Evans, and the Mayor of Milton Keynes.

Flowers House is built right next to Bletchley Park and takes its name from Tommy Flowers, who created the world’s first electronic programmable computer – Colossus.

You can find out more about Flowers House and enquire about spaces at the scheme here.
