This Friday, a small number of our trades teams are going on strike in a dispute over pay.
We’ve put contingency plans in place and hope the impact on you will be limited. However, we apologise in advance if you are impacted.
Of the 82 trades colleagues we have, strike action is being taken by a minority who are GMB union members.
We are disappointed by this action because we’ve invested significantly in our trades teams in the last 18 months. This includes a salary increase of over 14% last year.
We’re enormously grateful to the rest of the team and our contractors who’ve stepped up to maintain service delivery.
The strike will continue on two more dates in September and five in October.
