Here’s an update of some of the places where we’re building new homes.
Raunds, Northants
We’re building 16 homes for social rent and 14 for shared ownership; a mix of one-bed flats and two and three bed houses, including one specially adapted for a wheelchair user. The first phase of six homes is due for handover in March.
Wilstead, Bedfordshire
In this Bedfordshire village we’re building six homes for affordable rent and three for shared ownership – all 2 and 3 bed houses. We’re expecting handovers in June and July.
Norwood Farm, Northampton
We’re building 26 homes for affordable rent (1 and 2 bed maisonettes and 4 bed houses) and 26 for shared ownership (2 bed maisonettes and 3 bedroom houses) near Harpole in Northamptonshire. The first phase of 18 homes is due for completion in July.
Middleton Cheney, West Northants
This site is seeing 16 homes being built – 11 (1, 2, 3 and 4 beds homes) for affordable rent and 5 (2 and 3 bed homes) for shared ownership. These are due for completion in June.
Upper Caldecote, Bedfordshire
We’re building 45 new homes in this Central Bedfordshire village 23 for social rent (1 and 2 bed bungalows and 2, 3 and 4 bed houses) and 22 for shared ownership (2, 3 and 4 bed houses). Completions are due in the spring and concluding in the summer.
