We asked customers whoโ€™ve recently moved into their homes to tell us what worked well and what could be better.

What weโ€™ve done
  • Clearer information about Shared Ownership โ€“ We took part in National Shared Ownership Week, where we shared a short video that explained more about the product. Weโ€™re also working with the National Sales Group and National Housing Federation to raise awareness of Shared Ownership across the housing sector.
  • Easier to get in touch โ€“ Weโ€™ve added a direct phone number for our Sales Team on our website, and promoted it on Facebook, so customers can get quick answers.
What weโ€™re doing
  • Better aftercare โ€“ Weโ€™re developing guides on key topics, such as the customer journey and defects, to help new residents know what to expect.
  • Added touches โ€“ Weโ€™re reviewing our welcome packs to ensure theyโ€™re consistent across all new homes.
  • Improving home design โ€“ Weโ€™re including floor coverings as standard in all future new homes. We will also aim to meet Nationally Described Space Standards, and build more adaptable, energy-efficient homes with features such as EV charging and solar panels.
  • Ongoing support โ€“ Weโ€™re proposing a check-in within four weeks of move-in to make sure any issues are resolved quickly.

Whatโ€™s next

Weโ€™ll continue to work with customers, colleagues, and developers to shape our next Development and Sales Strategy. Weโ€™ll also make sure we use your feedback to make every new Amplius home even better.
