Gas safety
We visit all properties every 12 months, whether you have a gas supply or not. Our dedicated gas contractors and their service engineers will check your heating system. They will make sure it’s safe and that any faults are repaired.

You will be offered an appointment time for their engineer to attend and repair the fault.
Use of ceiling fans in rooms with gas fires
We recommend that electric ceiling fans (also known as paddle fans) should not be fitted in rooms where there’s a gas fire.
Using these fans can cause fumes from gas appliances to remain in the room. As a result, the gas engineer will disconnect the appliance. If you have one of these fans already fitted, it will need to be removed before the gas fire can be used.
