Non-collection weeks

Some customers have non-collection weeks as part of their tenancy agreement. These are sometimes called “rent free” or “payment free” weeks.

Customers with weekly charges are normally applied over 48 weeks. That means there are four non-collection weeks in the 2026/27 financial year. They are: 

• 21 to 27 December 2026
• 28 December 2026 to 3 January 2027
• 22 to 28 March 2027
• 29 March to 4 April 2027

If you have rent arrears, you should continue to make payments through the non-collection weeks to catch up.

Important information

52-week tenancy agreements don’t have non-collection weeks.
