Successful year for our Financial Wellbeing team

News – 14 February 2023 Last year was another busy and very successful year for our Financial Wellbeing Team.

• We reached over 1,200 households in 2022 to offer our expertise and support with Welfare Benefits.
• We secured financial gains for our customers of £2.9 million – that’s helping you, our customers, with claims for welfare benefits such as Universal Credit, disability benefits, Housing Benefit, Pension Credits, state pensions, council tax rebates.
• We worked with local charities and local authorities in providing emergency gas/electric top-ups as well as providing shopping vouchers through the household support funds, allowing us to distribute over £25,000 amongst our customers.
