Voice round up

News – 20 March 2024

We’ve had another great month of engagement on Voice, our customer feedback platform.

Thank you to everyone who has taken part. We use the feedback we get from Voice to help improve the services we offer at Grand Union. Here are the results of the last few surveys and polls.

Shaping the future for Grand Union Housing Group

Gardening inclusion survey

Voice members mentioned in one of our forums about an enhanced gardening service. We wanted to explore this further and see if there is a demand for such a service. Our Gardening inclusion survey was launched in January. We had 162 responses in total, all providing us with some great insight.

Respondents were asked to select the statement that best describes their ability to maintain their garden. The graph below shows the results.

36% - I currently have no issues maintaining my garden 32% I stay on top of my garden as best I can but it is a struggle 10% I am unable to maintain my garden 13% I struggle to maintain my garden but I receive help from family/ friends 6% I struggle to maintain my garden but I pay for a garden service 4% I struggle to maintain my garden but I get help from the Assisted Gardening Scheme

Around a third of participants (36%) had no issues maintaining their garden, the rest had some challenges or were unable to maintain their garden at all. Respondents told us that the main reason they struggle to maintain their garden is because they are physically unable to do so.

Over two-thirds (70%) of respondents were interested in a paid for service – with £20-£30 per month being the most common amount customers could afford to contribute.

Thank you to everyone who took part – the results from this survey have been shared with the relevant teams within Grand Union who will be using it as part of a review of Grand Union’s current gardening offer. If you would like to see the results in full, please click here.

Poll results

Voice also gives you the chance to take part in some polls that are just for fun. Here are your responses to the poll we posted to find out what topping simply does not belong on a pizza. You can view the poll results in the graph below.

27% said Pineapple was the topping that doesn't belong on pizza.
