Where are we building?

News – 20 October 2022

In the last financial year, we built 308 new homes. Our aim going forward is to build up to 400 homes a year over the next five years, to help play our part in ending the housing crisis.

Here’s an update on some of the places where we’re building new homes.

Bradwell Common, Milton Keynes

Close to the centre of Milton Keynes we’re building 14 one-bed apartments, 12 two-bed houses and 8 three-bed houses for rent and for shared ownership. These are due for completion at the end of the year.

Croyland Road, Wellingborough

We’re building a mix of two and three bedroomed houses, 18 for shared ownership and six for social rent, due for completion next summer.

Overstone Leys, Northants

We’ve just started building on this site – 65 homes for social rent and 28 homes for shared ownership sale. First handovers will come next summer.

We’re making great progress in finishing our biggest ever development in Biggleswade which will provide 93 Extra Care apartments for the over 55s with an identified care need. There are 68 one and two bedroom apartments for rent and 25 two bed apartments for shared ownership, all available from December. If you’re interested in one of these apartments, please visit grandunionliving.co.uk/properties/sorrel-gardens  for more information.
