Grand Active

Leading an active lifestyle is key to our health and wellbeing – and our GrandActive project is encouraging people aged 8 to 25 to do just that.
GrandActive uses sport and fitness activities to promote health and wellbeing. It’s been developed exclusively for those living in Central Bedfordshire, with funding from BeActive Bedfordshire

Some of the issues the programme is looking to tackle are:
- asthma
- child obesity
- anti-social behaviour
- social isolation.
Sessions run every month and are a mix of in person and online. They include:
- Football
- Basketball
- Table tennis
- Walks
- Badminton
- Self-defence
- Circuits (online with sessions for over 18s and some suitable for the whole family)
You can simply turn up to any of the events listed below, or email Nicola King, our Youth Participation Co-ordinator to find out more.
We’ll be regularly updating the events listed below, so make sure you keep checking this page so you don’t miss out!
