Quince Court, one of our Extra Care schemes, is located in the market town of Sandy.

This recently refurbished and extended scheme has 55 individual apartments (51 one-bed and 4 two-bed), a large communal lounge, kitchen and laundry room, assisted bathroom and a guest room. There’s also a scooter store on site.

Residents and their guests can enjoy relaxing in the sun lounge which is a bright, modern space with comfy seating.

There is a lovely, large garden with a pond and residents who enjoy gardening are welcome to help out.

We support customers who wish to arrange their own social activities and entertainment.

Sandy has an excellent range of shops, supermarkets and amenities, including a health centre. It’s situated on the A1 between Bedford and Cambridge, and has a mainline train station with links to Peterborough and London King’s Cross. There’s a bus stop near Quince Court itself so Biggleswade and Bedford are within easy reach.

Staff and support

As Quince court is an Extra Care housing scheme, residents have individual care packages provided by the on-site care provider based at the scheme 24 hours daily.

Our Partnerships Advisor works with the Care team to bring residents an extra level of support whilst maintaining their independence.

All apartments are fitted with the Appello digital technology system for 24-hour emergency alarm monitoring.
