Grand Union awarded top rating

News – 29 November 2022

The Regulator of Social Housing has confirmed that we have retained our G1/V1 status – the highest possible rating available.

This rating was confirmed by the Regulator following their recent assessment which considers the strength of our governance systems and procedures, our finances and our long-term business plan.

Mona Shah, Executive Director of Finance & Business Services, said: “Given the challenges the sector and the country is facing, we are extremely pleased to have once again retained this top status. It’s a real vindication of our financial strength and highlights the great work our team does to ensure we’re well run and can continue to provide more homes, stronger communities and better lives.”

We’ve held a top rating for both our Governance and Financial Viability since the Regulator first brought them in.
