Gangs and group disorder
Concerns about large groups or gangs of people who are causing a nuisance or intimidation should be reported to the Police immediately:
- call 101 if itโs a non-emergency
 - call 999 if itโs an emergency
 - tell the Police if youโre concerned about your safety.
 
The group disorder could be of criminal nature if it includes:
- hate crime
 - assault
 - sexual offences
 - threats of abuse or violence
 - verbal abuse or harassment of a criminal nature
 
We donโt have the power to respond to criminal activity.
Please make a follow-up report to us
Once youโve reported the behaviour to the Police, youโll need to:
- use our report ASB online form
 - attach completed incident logs to your report
 - include the Police incident report number and officer’s name.
 
Our team will open a case and get back to you ASAP with next steps.
Canโt speak to the Police?
If it’s not safe for you to speak to the Police directly you can:
- call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, the call is not traced or recorded, and you wonโt go to court if action is taken.
 - contact your local councils Social Services Safeguarding Team. You can find your local council here.
