Help shape the future of your community with MK PEP

We’re supporting MK PEP, a community-led project working across 11 estates in Milton Keynes to help people become more active, improve wellbeing and make their communities healthier places to live.

The project brings together local people, community groups and organisations to create positive, long-term change where it matters most.

Have your say as a young person

We’re looking for young people aged 13 to 17 to join a new Children and Young People Panel in Central South Milton Keynes and North West Milton Keynes.

Panel members will meet once a month to share their ideas, experiences and views on local issues. They’ll also learn how to gather feedback from other young people and help shape decisions made by the MK PEP project.

We’re looking for young people who:

  • Are aged 13-17
  • Live in one of the participating communities
  • Want to improve their local area
  • Are interested in helping others be more active and improve their wellbeing.

Join a Place Partnership Group

We’re also inviting local residents and community organisations to join new Place Partnership Groups.

These groups will meet every two months and will play an important role in helping shape activities and projects in their communities. Members will work together to gather feedback from residents, share ideas and help make sure local voices are heard.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Are aged 18 or over
  • Live on one of the participating estates
  • Want to make a positive difference in their community
  • Are interested in improving physical activity and wellbeing in their area.

Communities involved

The project is currently focused on the following estates in Milton Keynes:

  • Beanhill
  • Coffee Hall
  • Eaglestone
  • Fishermead
  • Fullers Slade
  • Greenleys
  • Hodge Lea
  • Kiln Farm
  • Netherfield
  • Springfield
  • Stacey Bushes

MK PEP is particularly focused on supporting children, young people and their families, as well as adults living with long-term health conditions.

By getting involved, you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas, influence local decisions and help create healthier, more connected communities for everyone.
