Quince Court, one of our Independent Living schemes, is located in the market town of Sandy.

This recently refurbished and extended scheme has 55 individual apartments (51 one-bed and 4 two-bed), a large communal lounge, kitchen and laundry room, assisted bathroom and a guest suite. There’s also a scooter store on site.

Kitchens come with integrated and well-placed appliances including oven and hob with extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Flooring is also included.

Customers and their guests can enjoy relaxing in the sun lounge which is a bright, modern space with comfy seating.

There is a lovely, large garden with a pond and residents who enjoy gardening are welcome to help out.

We support customers who wish to arrange their own social activities and entertainment.

Sandy has an excellent range of shops, supermarkets and amenities, including a health centre. It’s situated on the A1 between Bedford and Cambridge, and has a mainline train station with links to Peterborough and London King’s Cross. There’s a bus stop near Quince Court itself so Biggleswade and Bedford are within easy reach.
