Director of Adult Services at MacIntyre (Charity) working with children and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and has worked in a range of roles within the company since 1990. She is responsible for the support provided to over 1,000 adults in a range of geographic settings including residential care homes, supported living schemes, lifelong learning day opportunities and individual homes whilst overseeing 1,200 staff. Emma has a particular interest in support for people with learning disabilities who are growing older and may be at risk of, or have, developed dementia. Emma headed up MacIntyre’s award winning dementia project funded by the Department of Health’s ‘Innovation and Excellence’ and acts as an “Expert Adviser” for the NICE Centre for Guidelines on related topics.

Also, Emma is a keen artist who regularly exhibits her work.

Emma sits on the Customer Experience Committee.
