No More Week

Logo - No More Week 2024

This week is ‘No More Week’, an opportunity for us to raise awareness of domestic abuse.

Domestic abuse can take many forms, it’s not always physical. It can affect people of any age, from any culture or religion. It can happen within the family, or within a heterosexual or same sex relationship or people who are not in a relationship at all. Those experiencing domestic abuse may not even live with their abuser.

Domestic abuse also includes different forms of family violence such as forced marriage, female genital mutilation and ‘honour crimes’ that are carried out by family members.

You can visit the Refuge website for more information: refuge.org.uk/i-need-help-now/how-to-identify-abuse/

If you, or someone you know, is experiencing domestic abuse, you can find advice and information here, or get in touch and ask to speak to our dedicated Domestic Abuse & Safeguarding team. They will listen to you and believe you.
