Damp, condensation and mould update

Window showing condensation

Earlier in the year we asked you to review our new damp, condensation and mould policy on Voice, our customer feedback platform.

The feedback you gave us was really helpful as it showed we needed to work on making it easier to understand. As a result, we’ve done two things.

First is to create a much simpler policy for you. This clearly lets you know what we’ll do and what it means to you.

To make sure we’ve got it right, we’d like to have your feedback on it once again. You can review it on Voice now.

The second thing we’ve done is to improve the information we have on our website around damp, condensation and mould.

As colder months approach, we wanted to make sure you had the right information to help deal with potential issues. So, we’ve created a new area on our website – you can find it here.

It includes:

  • Three simple ways you can report damp, condensation and mould.
  • Tips to help reduce condensation and mould in your home.
  • Clear lists of who is responsible for what when it comes to damp, condensation and mould in your home.
  • A glossary that explains the meanings of some of the terms used when referring to damp, condensation and mould.

Don’t forget, if you do have any issues with damp, condensation and mould, you should let us know as soon as possible so we can fix them – you can report them here.

And if you feel there’s anything missing on our website when it comes to damp, condensation and mould, let us know. Email us at [email protected]
